As a therapy tool, massage is known to decrease anxiety and respiratory rates, increase the disease-fighting white cell population while increasing circulation and in many cases, may help fight depression. Massage is particularly effective for improving range of motion and function of injured or deconditioned muscles.

Massages last from 30 minutes to 2 hours, and can be a gentle relaxing massage to one that works on the deep tissue of a specific areas. Care is taken to makes sure that clients are comfortable with all aspects of the massage from temperature to application of pressure.
Manipulating the tissue of the paraspinal muscles stimulate blood flow, enhance lymph flow and relax tight muscles.
Specific areas may need special deep tissue work to improve range of motion and stimulate tissue healing.
The back, neck and shoulders get a good workout during chair massages. Chair massages are given in 5, 10 and 15-minute increments.
